Without Brees, are we better or worse than the Colts without Peyton?

I used to think this was a no-brainer. With the talent I used to think we had on defense, we should be hands down better than them on d, but are we?

I'd say we are just about even at WR and TE

Our Oline is a little better than theirs mainly because of our 2 Guards

I think we are a lot deeper at RB, but its not like any of our guys are 1,000 yard rushers.

We definitely have the edge on coaching, but what good is Sean Payton on offense when he doesn't have a capable QB running it?

How many games do we win if we were in their position this season?

i know, I was just thinking about how big of a contract Brees is going to get because I don't know that we would be that much better than the Colts without him. I have a feeling that is why it is taking so long for them to negotiate.

If we have a lucky year, probably 8-8 depending on cycles of whos good.

Chase Daniel seems like he can run this offense if needed and could surprise some people.

We would rely on Ingram and the other RBs to carry the load. Colts DE are better than ours, both teams LBs are the suck, and our DBs are better.

We would win at least one game.

Better. I think Chase could win us at least 3-4 games

The New Orleans Saints football team would be nothing without Drew Brees. He is almost a one-man team.

The Saints are a lot like the Colts in that regard . . . more like the Colts than most Saints fans would like to allow themselves to believe.

I doubt that the Saints finish with a winning record without Drew Brees.

Well thats not exactly going out on a limb, a 9-7 football team and this year's Colts are 2 completely different things

I think we'd be an 8-8 team.

I love Drew and he's an outstanding QB, but a lot of his success is due to Payton's system.

We'd still have Payton without Drew, so if he plugged another QB in there he'd still have some (but not as much) success.

Peyton Manning, on the other hand, is the starting QB/Coach/OC of his team. You can't convince me Jim Caldwell had anything to do with their SB run two years ago.

Drew helps the team overcome a lot of defensive flaws. I think they would most likely be affected, not near as bad as Indy though. that's just not understandable.

we'd win 3-6 games. Without Drew, I envision us being similiar to Arizona; Miami at worst

The Colts weren't exactly stellar last year with Peyton Manning. The Saints would be better w/out Brees mainly because Sean Payton is a much better coach than Jim Caldell
