Max was one of my favorites. Stange, but very cool. He is going to kind of take over for Doc Reich.

Hell yes!
I went on the west coast field trip in 2002 and MAX led it. Back then he was in his late 60s to early 70s and he out walked everyone on the bus.

Did you graduate in LA? I thought all students had to go on either the west or east coast field trips. Its a required 2 credit class that lasts for 2+ weeks when I was there. The west coast was mostly Cali, with a little Nevada and Arizona.

Its good to hear you liked the class as I did to. My brother, an ISDS major, took the class and he said he could barely keep his eyes open. Different strokes for different folks.

If you couldn't let go and just laugh and roll with it, I could see how it could be boring. But if you don't have a stick up your arse and give him a shot, you could always find a couple of laughs. Either at his corny jokes or at his eccentric behavior.

I am a Landscape Architecture alum......and if Max is making tigerdroppings, he must be doing something right. Not sure if he would be someone I would classify with swag....ha.
