Any restaurants, I mean, that are in Baton Rouge?

I did a search but couldn't find anything.

I heard Sammy's would be but that's why I was asking. I'll be coming over on Thurs.

And as far as this goes:

I've had to work on Thanksgiving/Christmas, New Years, 4th of July, since I can remember. There are people that do it. And not at a gas station either.

I think Mansur's will be open. Someone else asked this a few days ago.

I know. I didn't see what the answers were and I couldn't find anything when I did a search.

Thanks for your help.

The search function is the pits. I couldn't recall what was said other than I suggested trying Mansur's and someone else knew that Ruffino's was open.

Here's the list of restaurants in the area you wanted from the dining guide.

You could check a few websites or give a call to the ones of interest. Maybe TJ Ribs is open.

Copeland's is usually open but they have limited hours and a limited menu. Call to check the hours.

Cool, thanks.

Anyone who knows of any others, please let me know. Doesn't have to be a turkey dinner, just a restaurant.

Thanks a lot to those who have helped so far.

Same here. Doesn't have to be super fancy like Jubans or something but something above Burger King would be good.

Do you know about that Bogie's place? Is it just a bar?

Not my first choice of places, but I know for a fact that The Fox and the Hound is (was) open later in the afternoon. I found this out when my folks where in town one time and we were looking for a place to eat and drink. They were the only one's open for supper.

Oh ok, I know where that place is. Hmmm..... we usually go to Sullivans but that place will probably be closed.

Pickings are pretty slim on Thanksgiving and Christmas in Baton Rouge. The restaurants that are open have limited hours and menus and often limited "seatings". Best bets are the casinos and hotels. Check this Friday's Fun section in the Advocate for the restaurant ads and you'll probably find a few others.

That's cool. I wasn't thinking about a turkey dinner but just something decent.

Thanks for the input.
