What's sad is that Richardson will more likely than not come into the league and wind up carrying a majority of the load for a team in the first couple of years.

What people don't seem to ever understand, is that most of our own running backs would fare well on other teams. But we split carries between AT LEAST 3 backs (if not 4 some games). Even Richardson would find it difficult to gain heavy amounts of yardage with that set up.

Hmm.

Well Jarrett Lee had a good game vs Oregon and Luck not so much so I would trade Chase for Lee and start the run on LSU players early!

Go to ESPN.com and look at Ingram's situational stats and then tell me he goes down on the first hit.

I would not. I think Ingram is the better RB.

Right this second I would not, Daniel has looked pretty good to me, albeit in preseason games..

Ingram should never have been drafted by the saints, much less in round 1.

More like: The bad team that Tebow happened to be playing on won. His two complete passes are hardly what I would call a "contribution".

Drew Brees sneezes 65 yards. Even mentioning Tebow in the same sentence as Brees is heresy.

"But he finds a way to win". bullshite. The TEAM found a way to win...all he did was not frick it up by getting in the way. His 8 attempts should be evidence enough of the coaching staff's confidence in his ability to play quarterback, but I suppose some people have their tongue too far up Tebow's arse and don't want to hear that.

A win is a win.

In no way am I comparing Brees to Tebow. That's ludicrous.

My tongue is nowhere near Tebow's arse.

He will be a quality backup QB in this league for years.

How about drafting an O-line that can run block and open up a hole?

An excellent point.

Yeah. Ingram is overrated and not going to live up to the hype. Ingram will end up being a dud.

Maybe not dud but he probably not going to live up to cost to get him.

And that's less his fault and more a product of the nature of the RB position and the Saints offense having a RBBC.
