Well SlowFlowPro....aka... JJ's arch nemesis since day 1......what would be the scale from 1 to 10 on the panic meter for JL lovers such as yourself if JJ has a monster game and we win because of our offense?

I think this : will be the reaction after watching JJ lead us to victory.

If we lose a game, I'm blaming assholes like you for deeply wishing for it to justify acting like an arse.

Lee was out for a reason, I am assuming. So we continued to play with JJ. I am happy we didn't need to make any real adjustments to beat WKU. Again, it was WKU.

I think what is rather interesting from your perspective is that more JJ means more Ford

ford was a curious case last night

he didn't get much PT in the first half, and then when lee comes in BOOM ford back in

i'm curious if we have any other "option" backs

you need to go check yourself. i pushed for JJ to get more PT in 2008 and was a huge supporter through 2009 and thought he'd have a big year in 2010. i defended the hell out of him until he was a horrible QB in 2010

you need to go check history, brah

where is the confirmation of this? i keep hearing people say this, but it's just a rumor right now

Hanagriff confirmed it on the post game show last night. Where was the confirmation of Mathieu, Simon, and Ware sitting against Auburn for lighting up? You aren't going to get more confirmation than that.

and that still doesn't explain the change in offense with jj or not playing mett more

JJ - Miles wanted to let JJ throw it more than usual. He, like all of us, knew we could pound WKU.

Mett- Was never part of the plans for this year. And him not playing against WKU is going to have zero effect on how he performs next year.

i knew that before it hit the rant. i heard nothing about lee's issues until just now

we didn't really run well, so no, we didn't know this

games like WKU were when mett needed to see the field so that he's more prepared for 2012. that's waht these rent a wins are for

Well, since there was a contingent on here (and elsewhere) that said JJ shouldn't be playing at all since JL could do all that needed to be done to bring us to a NC, I'd say it's all moot.

IIRC there was some pretty widespread booing for JJ seeing the field at all. (Many said they weren't booing him, just that Coach Miles whose football IQ was so low as to think that playing JJ at all any could possibly be a good thing for the team).

So, I guess the better "what if" would be ... what if these guys got their way and JJ didn't play at all or alternatively had no meaningful snaps before the Bama game?

I guess your "sources" didn't know about it either then. So, you aren't going to acknowledge that someone with inside info to the program (Hanagriff) confirmed that Lee was sitting for missing class? That's what happened, quit with the "Miles loves JJ" BS.

291 yards and 7.3 yards per attempt say that this statement is retarded.

Like I said, if Mett comes in and throws a dozen passes against WKU, he'll be no more or less prepared for the 2012 season. And, I disagree. Rent-a-wins are to give the 2011 team a break from the rigors of the SEC scheduled and to allow them to heal from games like we played last week against Bama. They actually have very little to do with preparing for future seasons, and I think most coaches would acknowledge this on or off the record.

I would much rather JJ got his brain freezes out of the way against WKU than Arky or Jawja. LET JJ get some game experience throwing in this game and see what needs to be addressed before we get to Arky 'cause we all know Arky is going to an industrial dose of the running game and we'll probably need JJ as well as Lee. This game was a tune up--chill and enjoy.
