Most tainted sports record of all time?

JoePa's college football wins... where he sacrificed children for the sake of personal glory?
I can't think of anything that comes remotely close... Barry Bonds's homeruns? Naaah.

Your post count + this post pretty much sums up this board pretty quickly

I think it was already tainted for the shear fact that he has not really been the coach for a quite a while now.

Yeah. Taking performance enhancing drugs like 90% of your peers in the sport is worse than enabling child rape.

Strahan's single season sack record. Favre is on audio saying that he is going to give it to him. I don't see how anything is more tainted than this

Yeah but at some point he has to scratch his head and wonder what Sandusky is still doing around the program. He has to know that the higher ups fumbled and he has to take it into his own hands IMO
He certainly isn't innocent in this, but he certainly doesn't share all of the blame. A lot of people dropped the ball here.

Whatever is new, has to be the best/worst...people are dumb!
Did not going to the police help him win football games? There's no concrete evidence if they turn Sandusky in that it affects Paterno in staying as coach.
NOW steroids certainly helped Bonds.

I'd say Cal Ripkena streak is the most tainted. Half of those games it was really Billy Ripken out there, and the coaches knew that and just covered it up. Sick.

This makes no sense. This scandal in no way enhanced Penn State's on-the-field performance. As a matter of fact, it may have hurt it since Paterno was forced to let go one of the best defensive coordinators in the nation.

But MLB had no drug enforcement program when Bonds was doing steroids. You can't brake a rule that doesn't exist.

There was still a rule against illegal drug use, so Bonds* was a cheater. There just wasn't a testing program to catch him.
This is the worst sports scandal ever...but I can't say the record was the most tainted. He won 409 games legitimately, while Tom Brady* and Barry Bonds* gained an illegitimate competitive advantage with their actions.
