Michael Lombardi at NFL.com has PP7 as his All-Pro CB. Not return man, but CB. Interesting, because he got off to a slow start and is getting better every game...

He's improving, but all-pro? Wow.

eta: Jake Long is on that list. He has been good in the years past, but he is sucking this year and doesn't deserve it.

I've only watched him a few times this season. Having his as an all pro opposite revis is a surprise.

Jake Long has no fricking help. The QB holds the ball too long, the RB's don't chip on their way out of the pocket, and they leave him to block 2 guys frequently.

He hasn't been great, but I feel for the guy. If he had a solid team around him I think he'd be all pro. The Steelers should trade for him and he can be their next franchise OL next to Pouncey.

Yeah I agree. He was getting abused early on, but now he seems to be catching up to the speed of the game. His progress is very obvious. I think by years end he'll have earned it. Nnamdi hasn't done shite because of Philly's zone, Chromartie gets burned on the reg, etc.

Who else would go up there? Brandon Flowers is having quite a fricking year, is he a CB?

Truth.

I guess PP in the highlight reel every week just has him on people's minds.

He'll be a perennial all-pro for years, especially if he makes a switch to FS. If they let him just roam centerfield and play the ball in the air while facing the QB he'd be ungodly in the secondary. You can't really throw away from a FS.

If you were to draw a dreamy conerback, it would look like PP.

yeah, physically. He could use better hips. Watch Revis or Nnamdi spin their hips around with the ball in the air, it's unbelievable.

I think PP would be better off in the long run playing centerfield like Ed Reed.

Not sure that PP should be there because I have seen him get abused and picked on a lot.

Lombardi loses some cred with me when he chooses Rob Gronkowski (44 REC, 596 YDS, 13.5 YDS, and 6 TDs) over Jimmy Graham (55 REC, 791 YDS, 14.4 AVG, and 5 TDs).

he was having issues with brandon lloyd last week. this spot is likely due to the (justified) recognition he's received as a punt returner.

There's no way Peterson is an All-Pro CB. Not yet at least. I would be shocked if he even makes the Pro Bowl as a CB this year.

I am not sure if these stats are any good, but this site has PP pretty for down the list for CBs.
