Did anyone buy any of that 4,000lb gumbo in Suckaloosa?

Wondering how good it came out considering the enormity of that damn gumbo!

At lunchtime, there was a line of about 400 people waiting. Instead of waiting in line, I just bought a $5 ticket, supported a worthy cause and let everybody else have some. Went by later and saw Bobby Bowden getting some of the last of it.

It was pretty damn good, I'm not quite sure how they got all those proportions to work out, especially with the wild variety of meat they used but they did well.

oh well proceeds to local charities, I had some, it was OK for what it was but my Swamp Gump relatives said it wasn't as good as mine!

I love catfish. Don't get me wrong. ANY kind of fish in a gumbo is a disaster.

I didn't understand why people wasted hours in line for it. It looked terrible and I imagine it tasted bad. John Folse doesn't need a microphone ever again.
