I'm looking in the East, West Feliciana, Point Coupe, or Wilkinson County.
Figure I'd throw that out there

THere are clubs around. Look more in Washington parish rather than St. Tammany. Horseshoe is looking for members every year. Ten point is normally looking for members each September. The bombing range aka South Tangipahoa HC is ALWAYS looking.
Keep in mind the hunting over here isn't stellar. I am in 3 clubs in St. Tammany/Washington parish and no where do I average seeing a deer a hunt each season. However it's very convinient which is a plus. Post this again in July I'll try and help.

Its been my experience that alot of these places practice if its brown its down. How many acres and how many members if you dont mind at the three you are in.

Lived in Washington Parish for 20 years. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else. Liberty, Woodville, Natchez. Its farther but worth it.
If you must and love small pines, Horseshoe is about the only place I know. The old Mosure Hill is a state park and the only place I ever killed a few is a gravel pit now.

GH22 every place I am a member in in Washington parish is if it's brown it's down.
As I stated you hunt there for the convinence not the record books. I kill an average of 2 deer a year off each club I am in. I am not a huge deer hunter, I rather ducks so I don't do a whole lot of deer hunting.
THe hunting is decent in Washington/St. Tammany but as others have said if you are looking to see deer every hunt look elsewhere. I like the fact I can leave my house and be on a stand in 20 min, to me that is worth the trade off of slightly worse hunting. It's a personal preference. I hunt my place in IL two weeks out of the year and that gives me my big deer and then fill in the rest with quick hunts by the house.
