there was nothing downfield all night save a blown coverage on the shep play. he made two bad decisions to try and get rid of it. when jj couldn't scramble it was uf 09 all over again, he held it and got brought down. barring a rematch we will not see this kind of defense again. they'll be alright.

Jefferson is even less comfortable in the pocket than Lee. We're not Georgia Tech - we can't run the option for a full game.

This guy is right Lee did look scared and thats why he played the way he did and thats why Miles put JJ in the game. The fact is if lee stayed in the game we would have lost. Say all you want about JJ didnt look great but what do you expect up against the #1 defense

The only QB any LSU fan should want to see start is Mett, and only bc we just dont what he has to offer.
Lee and JJ are who they are and it's average QBs at best.
Why fans are so eager to rush to this board and shite on either guy after they make a mistake is baffling. They are both not that good

This. I honestly thought Lee looked scared last night for the first time in a while. However we shouldnt have to play bama again. We HAVE to get lees confidence back against western kentucky and Ole Miss because we will need him for arky and UGA. Just like we needed the swag last night we need Lee for those two. Both guys have been very gracious to the other one in interviews etc. Its not a either or type deal. We need both.

It's ridiculous how Lee has been great all year and then he has one bad game and people say he doesn't have it. He had a bad game. It happens. Jefferson played better last night. Lee has outplayed Jefferson this whole year, but did Les decide that Jefferson doesn't have it? No. He kept faith in him knowing that his skill set could help us win later down the road. That's why he was able to perform last night and help us win. We would be fools to give up on a guy who has played well for 7 out of nine games. (Bama and Kentucky) Keep playing Lee and he will help us win as the season goes just like Jefferson did last night.

He's looked that way all year, but this is the first d that's really made him pay for it.
But it's not as if Jefferson gives any consistency in the passing game either.

NEWSFLASH :
JL is not that good of a quarterback , he is OK for college, yesterday he faced an NFL defense and it showed.
We are also lucky to have JJ and I have never hated on him or never will because he has given so much to LSU team.
But lets face it, neither of these guys are that good. The good news is we are not gonna face another defense like that this year!
