I know negatiger!I hate to dis on the kid but had jefferson been kicked off the team we would have lost the game last night. I want the best for lee but i think jefferson deserves the starting job back or at least more playing time. Lee still doesnt check out of the plays if the defense has 10 guys on the line of scrimmage, still throws of his back foot on every play, still only usually looks at one receiver ,feels the phantom rush every play when there no pressure and still doesn't step up in the pocket. These are things a freshman does. The guy has been at LSU 5 years and still scares the living hell out of me back there every play well the ones that hes not handing off anyway. i like the kid but jefferson deserves more of the passing downs instead of the designated option QB. Grill away but even in the wins this year Lee still is not in command and jefferson deserves more down with his dual threat potential.

did you not see JJ looking like a scared freshman in the pocket, also?

neither QB looked good last night. we had basically no passing offense

You're an idiot. He had one bad game out of 9 games.

FWIW QB's on both sides looked scared. The offense wasn't bad; the defense was just THAT good.

no he's not. he's actually right. he is very nervous and has been all year. if you haven't seen that, then you need to pay closer attn. that being said, he has a good job delivering the ball to his receivers. just needs to relax a little and play more like a senior.

That Bama defense would make Andrew Luck look like a freshman. It's one game and Lee deserves to keep the starting role

there was nothing downfield all night save a blown coverage on the shep play. he made two bad decisions to try and get rid of it. when jj couldn't scramble it was uf 09 all over again, he held it and got brought down. barring a rematch we will not see this kind of defense again. they'll be alright.

Last night yes, rest of year No. He's 3rd in SEC QB rating. He's been huge for us this season.

This. Outside of one busted coverage we could not move the ball vertically through the air in passing situations.

As long as it isn't against Bama's defense then I absolutely have faith in Lee bringing LSU back from 10 down

Saban was tossing the kitchen sink at him, cut the kid some slack. This is one game that our typical pounding play action offense wasn't working.

This game is why miles has been pushing JJ in to the O. He is able to move when the pass rush is too much.
