its a win win make the tebow lovers happy for the time being, but it will shut them up making the haters happy eventually all while improving the Broncos chances in the Luck Sweepstakes

Honestly, what do they have to lose playing Tebow? At least they can say he had his shot.

But really, frick that team is terrible. Tebow made mistakes but that offensive line is fricking terrible. It's not all Tebow's fault.

Well, John Fox is losing credibility with his players, for one.

The Broncos are terrible in all 3 phases. Elway's about to learn the definition of rebuilding.

I thought his teammates liked Tebow? They need to start rebuiling with the interior. O-line is awful.

Tim Tebow is a marketing genius. He's not an NFL quality quarterback on a shitty team, and that's all we can talk about.

He's in a tough position. That offensive line is porous and he's got limited talent to throw to. If Fox didn't hate Knowshon so much, he could be useful out of the backfield. It would be a tough position for any young QB to face. That said, he just doesn't pass the eye test. He holds the ball too long, something you can't fix in just a week. Not to mention, when he's not playing well (which is like 90% of what he's done this year) the broncos offense is putrid. Detroit put up 29 fantasy points this weekend.

the best thing for the Broncos would be for them to get the 2nd pick. They'd be forced to take someone other than Luck. Then they might just draft some linemen and actually try to make the core of the team better before throwing every QB on their team under the bus.

With a good O Line, Kyle Orton could have this team in the playoffs.

The subject of our essay was not the worst quarterback of Week 8, but he was the worst passer. Although Tim Tebow of the Denver Broncos chipped in with a handful of first downs as a rusher, he finished with only nine first downs through the air, at a cost of seven sacks, three fumbles, and an interception. Most of his good plays came in the fourth quarter. It was the second time in two weeks that Tebow has stunk up the joint for 45 minutes before turning things around in the final frame. The first time came against the winless Dolphins, so Tebow's play overcame a small deficit and fell under the category of "heroics." This time, the Broncos were playing the playoff-contending Lions and facing a huge deficit, and Tebow's late-game efforts could be labeled as "stats padding." Call it what you will, but Tebow's performance has clearly improved late in games. In the first three quarters of his two starts, Tebow has completed 34 percent of his passes for 3.6 yards per pass, with nine sacks in just 38 dropbacks. In his two fourth quarters (and one overtime), those numbers improve to 57 percent, 6.2 yards per pass, and four sacks in 41 dropbacks.

So he "improves" in the fourth quarter of games (when teams are playing prevent and/or have called off the dogs...) to put up numbers similar to such luminaries as Derek Anderson.
