Still one of the funniest things I've seen in years.

I think he stays with the Cards. And I've talked to way too many people (some Cards fans, some not) who think the same thing.

If for some reason he doesn't don't be shocked if he ends up with Dean's beloved Angels instead (though most likely Prince Fielder goes there).

I can't see him ending up with the enemy. I think he wants to see his kids grow up.

pujols isnt your typical domincan prospect though. he went to HS in the US as well as JUCO. Less likely to lie about his age.

I should say EPIC FAIL (to the Brewers' chances, not the post) but they have a good team without him.

Plus in order to apply for US citizenship he had to show something more than an Obama birth certificate.

OK that was a but he had to show some genuine proof of age to apply.

I think the cards try to move Holliday. They'll have to eat some of his salary, but it'd free up some money for ALbert. They could just move Craig to left.

You know, I haven't thought about that, but that is actually a great idea. With the emergence of freese and craig, there is plenty to put around Pujols in the lineup. I like Holliday but i would sacrifice him for Albert.

as a cardinals fan I would love for him to stay - but not at anything like what he is supposedly asking for

if money was no object sure then he could get paid as much or more than anyone - but STL is a middle market team and they can't afford one guy making more than a fourth of the total budget (more like one third)
