So mother in law surprised me with a gameday shirt

I am totally against gameday shirts on gameday!!!!
Not cause they are ugly, it's a superstitious thing. I don't have a problem wearing it starting 11/6 and forward.
How do I get out of wearing it without feelings being hurt, or should I quit being a vagina and wear it and hope that the football Gods don't punish me and my Tigers for wearing this shirt?

I'm a little superstitious, too. I wouldn't wear the gameday shirt for the game, but maybe you can use it for a while before the game and then change

I have a certain shirt I wear every game day. I think I've been wearing it since the 03 season every Saturday during football season. I try not to wear it the rest of the year since its starting to get a few small holes around the neck area.

frick that, You wear what makes your LSU mojo work. I know it's stupid but I am so superstitious. It is dumb but I don't care, I am so OCD when it comes to LSU games. If she doesn't get it then frick her!

"Accidentally" spill some water on it just before the game and then go and change. MIL wouldn't think twice about about it when she sees how heartbroken you are that you have to change shirts.

just explain to her your superstitious ways. I justified getting into a full blown fight with a toddler last year during a devils hockey game over the fact that he kept taking my hat

+1 I have one for this game and I'll wear it Saturday before watching the game. Then I'll have a regular LSU shirt on.
