Offensive Line - Even
Receivers/TE's - LSU
Running Backs/Fullbacks - Even
Quarterbacks - LSU
Defensive Line - LSU
Linebackers - Alabama
Defensive Backs - LSU
Special Teams - LSU
Head Coaching - Even
Coaching Staff - LSU
Home Field - Alabama
Turnovers - LSU

I know I'm biased, but it's still accurate.

Non biased opinion...

O-Line - Alabama
Wide Receiver - LSU
Running Back - Alabama (although I think LSU has more depth and capable running backs as a whole)
Tight Ends - I don't know enough about Alabama's to say
Quarterbacks - LSU
Defensive Line - LSU
Linebackers - Alabama
Defensive Backs - LSU
Special Teams - LSU - huge advantage with the punter
Coaching - Push

This is how I have it as well.

I think OP was pretty accurate, but my sense is that LSU has a slight edge in defensive backs.

Offensive Line - LSU (#1 in SEC in sacks and TFL allowed)
Wide Receivers - LSU
Running Backs - Even (LSU plays 4-5 backs and has more depth and thus fresh legs at all times)
Tight Ends - Even
Quarterbacks - LSU
Defensive Line - LSU
Linebackers - Alabama
Defensive Backs - Even
Special Teams - LSU
Coaching - Even
Home Field - Alabama
Intangibles - LSU (#1 in SEC in turnover margin, more team speed)

How would you compare Alabama and LSU by position:

Offensive Line - LSU
Wide Receivers - LSU
Running Backs - Alabama
Tight Ends - Even
Quarterbacks - LSU
Defensive Line - LSU
Linebackers - Alabama
Defensive Backs - LSU
Special Teams - LSU
Coaching - Even
Home Field - Alabama
Intangibles - Even

FIFY.

Add in the way that LSU creates turnovers and does not commit them and the extreme edge in the kicking game and LSU is going to win this one by 2 TD's.

I almost gave intangibles to LSU just because LSU will come out fired up with intensity and Alabama will do that machine thing that they do. Intensity will trump consistency in this game.

Plus, LSU has been very disciplined and consistent as well - Disciplined Fury.

Our OL outweighs their OL? How the hell does that matter? You really think our left side will "blow" them off the ball....

It doesn't matter. I think the common idea is that their oline is bigger and better. I am mearly stating that our is just as good technique wise and bigger. And bigger does make a difference when taking on 260 pound lbers.

Also our left side is definitely our better side (like most teams) and with faulk playing better then ever, and lonergran healthy we should have success on the left side.

Cant believe I had to break all this down for you to understand.

If Simon could CATCH THE DAMN BALL I would give the edge to LSU. Bama has a quality D-backfield too.

He will catch it now...he was high and seeing three three balls before

I'm telling you guys Brad Wing will own this game. LSU is so much better in the kicking game it's not even funny. Even Bama fans know this. It's just not common to discuss the kicking game.

agreed - if we were planning to need a punter but we will not be punting!

Good thing our OL doesn't line up on the field against yours.

those jokes weren't even funny a week ago, so why would they be funny after everyone has said them ad nauseam?

Suggesting there is a better safety in the league than Mark Barron is downright silly. He would have likely gone first, early 2nd round last year had he not torn his pectoral.

Did you read what I wrote at all? I said I didn't care about draft position, BT's numbers are better against way better comp.
