Not sure where you got those stats

NAME------------CAR-----YDS-----AVG-----LONG----TD
Spencer Ware-----128----512-----4.0------23------6

NAME------------CAR-----YDS-----AVG-----LONG----TD
Eddie Lacy------58------465-----8.0------67(TD) 5

Team Rushing

LSU - 352 carries for 1512 yards, 21 TDs, 4.3 YPC

Bama - 314 carried for 1834 yards, 27 TDs, 5.8 YPC

I like threads like these BUT you can't compare one against the other.

For example: it would be LSU OL vs Bama DL, Bama secondary vs LSU WR. I think we should break it back down like that.

EXACTLY. It's not like our OL goes against Bama's OL, etc. Position breakdowns mean nothing unless you compare positions that go up against each other.

And everything changes. Because I love our OL, but idk if we can dominate their front seven (pretty sure we can't) like we've done to others so you can't really give an edge to lsu there either.

At Work - You said LSU will beat down Alabama - based on what?

I didn't say that.

LSU is giving up a lot more rushing and passing yards.

Bama hasn't played Oregon or WVU. Our stats are different because we've played better teams. Northwestern is better than Kent State. Oregon is better than Penn State. West Virginia is way better than North Texas. Miss State is way better than Ole Miss. Florida and Tennessee are common opponents (with extremely similar results, score-wise). Arkansas versus Kentucky is the only superior matchup on Bama's schedule.

Our stats are also skewed by the gameplan against WVU - we let them catch passes and kept them in front of us. The fact that the tackling went to $hit during the game is not a kudos for us, but, overall, that was the gameplan - stop the big play.

Bama's secondary is not Bette than LSU's secondary. LSU secondary has a nickleback(TM7) tied for most tackles in the sec( or was before he had to sit out), the #2 corner back is tied for first in the SEC for passes defended. MO C is the best secondary player on either team. And we haven't even mentioned safeties.

This is LSU's biggest strength. The rest is ok.

It's a very close position and in my personal opinion Taylor is the best safety in the league AT THIS MOMENT. not saying he'll get draftee higher or whatever, but he's the unsung hero for our team.

Our qb's are a bigger advantage then people think, for a couple of reasons.

1. They offer 2t totally different looks, if one option is working better then the other you have the option to go with the hot hand

2. They are both seniors and have faced saban blitzes for several years now.

3. Both have beaten bama

Their offensive line is not better then a fully intact healthy lsu line. Our line has almost a 10 pond average in size when healthy.

Our left side will blow their dline off the ball

While it is true both your QBs have beaten Bama, both have also lost to Bama. Neither has beaten Bama in Tuscaloosa.

Great argument, our line is better because we outsize them by 10 pounds, some of our fans embarass me

Our OL outweighs their OL? How the hell does that matter? You really think our left side will "blow" them off the ball....

Alabama's starting five olinemen

LT - Jones - 315
LG - Warmack - 320
OC - Vlachos - 295
RG - Steen - 310
RT - Fluker - 335

We average 315 lbs. across our oline. Are you saying LSU's oline average 325 lbs.? I am calling bullshite on that statement.

Suggesting there is a better safety in the league than Mark Barron is downright silly. He would have likely gone first, early 2nd round last year had he not torn his pectoral.
