I just got finished watching the Alabama-Tennessee game. McCarron is not very good at all. Very inconsistent, overthrows regularly, and is easily rattled. Tennessee has a slow DLine and did not get much pressure, but McCarron had problems.

His best pass is the little dump off into the middle of the field to a RB or a crossing WR. We need to watch that.

Overall, Alabama is very beatable. After watching LSU beat Tennessee the week before, I was not that impressed with Alabama overall.

They are a good team, don't get me wrong. But, they are beatable.

We are going to be able to run the ball on them. I wasn't so sure of that before - now, I am. Their LBs are big, but not that quick.

Bama has a great team, but this is the way I look at it:
I really believe that they were better last year, and we were no where near as good last year as we are now.

That seems to apply to their entire team, particularly the lines. I think we're just as strong but not as heavy and therefore much quicker.

We will sack AJ 4 times. hell north Texas sacked him 4 times. Teams seem to be scared of Bama. Why? outside of Trent Richardson on their offensive side they don't have shite.

+1. McCarron is an above average QB...he's just inexperienced.

They have zero skill players on special teams and on offense vs their 2009 team with Julio and Javier Arenas

He isn't Jordan Jefferson circa first half of 2010 terrible, but he is going to get exposed on Nov. 5th.

Tennessee is slow on defense, but they were getting to him without really blitzing. Bama's line is overrated. Tennessee was also stuffing the run pretty well.

Alabama moved the ball in the 3rd quarter and Tennessee completely folded. But, it was not because Bama did anything that special. Tennessee fell apart, knowing they had no chance, after Bama scored in the 3rd.

Bama has a good team. McCarron is a decent QB. But, the myth of Bama has been built up because of an incredibly weak schedule. They are going to get exposed against LSU and we will run and pass on them and make McCarron's life miserable.

very overrated. They were shifting around players before the season. North Texas is terrible and their dline was getting in the backfield in the 1st half. Kent state as well.

Watch the Tennessee game. A mediocre Tennessee defense was in McCarron's face all night and they were really plugging holes in the run game.

McCarron burned them with that little dump off pass over the middle to a RB or crossing WR. If we can take that away, he won't know what to do. That was his go-to 3 out of 4 times, especially in the first half.

But AJ hasn't seen a defense near this good all year but to be fair we haven't either.

I think we win, but it is difficult to judge a QB by watching one game..JL didn't look so hot when we played Kentucky...Just saying..

LSU's speed might help them stopping Richardson, especially if guys like Mingo and Montgomery can get to the edge on the outside runs and slow him down before he gets going north south.

That's a ridiculous statement. They defintely do not have the skill players at WR like we do, but they've recruited as good, if not better, than anyone in the country. I believe Les has done a better job recruiting, regardless of what the rankings said.

To say they have zero skill players on ST is a bit of an overstatement.
