I think that LSU will win by at least 20.

I've said for over a week now, I think LSU by two scores is the pick.

Look - it doesn't matter where you play the game. The ball belongs to Honey Badger, the field belongs to Wing, and the end zone belongs to RR. They can fight over the rest.

Actually I am. This LSU team has really impressed me.

If we can match their offense, our ST and Defense should be able to score a couple of touchdowns.

Good Lord....has anyone in this thread predicting a 2 TD win and LSU putting up 30+ points watched Bama play this year. You can't slide a sheet of paper between these two teams talent wise.

This will be a brutal game with 17-24 points being the most either team will score and I don't see either team winning by more than 7.

Don't get me wrong, I love how LSU has been playing, but Bama is just as good. The team with the least screw ups wins. Period.

If the game is officiated like the Auburn game, then LSU will have a chance to win this, but it will come down to which team controls the clock and the fatigue factor, i.e., which team's OL and DL are better conditioned for that 4th quarter.

I think the entire country expects a brutally hard hitting and tactical battle royale. Smart money says don't bet on this one.

BINGO hit the nail on the head, that is exactly what I predict as well.

Halftime score:
LSU 10
Bama 7

Final score:
LSU 31
Bama 17

31-14

17 point win imo. Maybe 31-17 in which case its 14 points.

I'm thinking ten points myself. 29-19 LSU.

Now that's what I'm talking about! I didn't want to start a thread of this nature but.... now that it's out there let's be objective.

'Bama has home field advantage and that's a major. However, since BOTH teams are legitimate championship contenders I think the refs keep the homer calls to minimum. That's good for LSU.

Then there's the offenses and special teams play. Consider the defenses equal. Having 2 senior QB's who have been through hell and back should account for the X-factor. Plus they are both playing great! Add in an experienced and productive offensive line and quality at the skill positions as good as any in the country and should be advantage LSU.

Toss in the "edge" factor with LSU's nasty nature on offense and defense and special teams and you have the recipe for another double-digit victory. 'Bama may think they are better at the moment but once the teams line up and start playing football on the field things will change per usual as the game progresses.

I still have my doubts about the 'Bama QB. This is his 1st year starting and while he has doen remarkably well I don't see those 5 yard slants picking up major yardage against our secondary. They do have Richardson and he's a horse so we will need to slow him down and that will secure victory! Nov. 5th is what it's ALL about. NEXT!
