Into giving ESPN whatever they want to make this a primetime 7pm matchup?? 1st and 2nd pick for whatever game they want next year??

I would never give ESPN what they want. Hold tight CBS.

Have to do something big because no way ESPN/ABC is going to want to lose ratings from their KState-Ok State game.

I think 230 would be better for LSU, take some of the Big Game feel away from BAMMERS.

CBS had 1 nighttime slot per year and they already used it for Bama Florida and now they are wanting this game for primetime.. Some have sdaid they will give ESPN the first pick of any game next year for this slot...

Could guarantee that LSU-Bama is a night game on ESPN next year.

Why? If CBS is willing to give them something worth real value to them, it might be worth it to ESPN to allow this.

What could CBS offer that would be worth going up against a prime time matchup of regular season 1 v 2?

I can't see the Disney/ABC/ESPN corporate bigwigs giving any sort of competitive advantage to CBS...

and on College Football Live last night, the countdown clock that was used for the game pointed to a 3:30 (Eastern) kickoff....

I don't want the game to be at night, and I don't think it should be. the rules are in place. LSU deals with them every home game, and they want to change it now? I don't think that is right.

I don't want it to be a night game since were playing in Bama, but if it did happen this board would melt down. It would be entertaining.

The countdown timer they had last night on ESPN2 before they switched to the OU game was counting down to 7 PM

First pick on one or more SEC games next year.

I agree 100%.

Because of CBS, a 76-year-old LSU tradition ended.

Watching one of their college football broadcasts is agony. It's essentially a 4 hour commercial break with some football interspersed throughout.

LSU had to deal with it. Bama should do the same.

It's not our fault that CBS decided to blow their wad on the Bama/UF game that turned out to be a snoozer.

Unless ESPN guarantees in writing that the Bama game next season in Baton Rouge will be at night, then LSU should oppose the change, if they have any say in the matter.

ya'll do realize Bama prefers day games right? They are upset their games have been moved to 7pm kickoffs for ESPN.
