Upper part of NEZ is killing the overhead camera shots of Tiger Stadium...

If those are student tickets and we can't fill it up for UF and Auburn then it's time to take some seats away from the students. All year long that section has been empty.

I am sure if it continues the athletic dept will reduce the student allotment and sell more tickets

I'm not a gramps or a father for that matter.
I've been asked by friends to sit with them in the student section numerous times, but I'd rather sit in my seats because I actually enjoy watching the game

I think it's students this year, but it wasn't last year. Problem is, most students don't know that it's open for students so they don't sit there.

It's this awkward part of the student section that is over season ticket seats. Most of the students either don't know it even exists or want to sit in the middle of it all in the northwest corner so they'll put 40 in a row made for 30.

I know most of my friends who are still in school there don't know thats part of the student section. They have been confined to the northwest corner for so long I don't think they expect to be able to sit anywhere else.

My guess...
The students pack more people in the bottom half of the section than are supposed to be there.
If the entire student section holds 15,000 (guess) and they pack all 15,000 in seats designed to hold 10,000 the top will look empty.
The tickets are being used, they just choose to stand jammed into the bottom of the section.

Student section holds about 12k. They sell 14k in tickets.
