For some reason I just don't see this being a big deal when it comes to the gameplan beating Auburn. We will lack some depth that we have gotten so used to, but I really dont think we will notice much of a difference.

Also I didn't hear Miles' comments last night, is there not going to be an official comment about if they are suspended? Does this mean they will dress out, but just ride the pine this weekend? (or will they not even be on the sideline?)

Depends on what you mean by miss a beat. Defense will not be as good on pass defense, but run D should be better. 3 safeties>3 CBs with run D. Look for more passing from Lee and more JJ on short yardage. I think JJ will become more like RP meaning a situational runner instead of leading entire drives.

I agree... Of course we will miss TM7, and Ware running style, but I dont think we see a huge drop off... I think Ford and Blue will be in beast mode, If Ford gets the carries, he will bust a couple long runs.. the Def. will step it up and make up with effort the loss of TM7 IMO

I agree pretty much with JJ27. Defense has to take a hit when two guys in the secondary go out. I would like to see more opportunities presented to the young RBs whose redshirts have been pulled as opposed to just giving JJ more carries. Hilliard could be the man for the inside running.

I don't think we miss a beat at all. I thought before the season that we'd slaughter Auburn and I still believe it. At this point I still don't see what Auburn brings into Death Valley to compete with a team that is out playing the hell out of the competition, even in day games. All we've talked about was how deep this team is and now we're freaking out. I guess I would hafta see a close game before I start freaking out. Plus, I think CLM will probably start the game off to put Aub away early because of the circumstances and because of last year.

Not to be gloom-and-doom but we will be missing our best defensive player AND our best offensive player + we are playing a top 20 team that is the defending national champion! That would/should make it tough on any team - looking at this objectively.

However, upon further review WE are at home and I see Hilliard getting opportunities at power running back to help the running game and we are facing a first time starting QB so the glass is still half-full IMO.

My main concern like most everyone else is the thought of longer suspensions for these 3 guys. Hopefully they can get their act together and be cleared to play for 'Bama.

In closing this is a BIG deal for the chemistry and continuity of the team. Good news is if we can survive Auburn we have 2 weeks to prepare for Alabama and TM7 and Ware will be needed. Thrill a minute as always.....

Our pass D will kinda suck, but other than that, I don't think we do.

does this throw off your game prep if you're Auburn?

Vegas does. The line moved from -22.5 to -21.5. I agree with Vegas.

Count me in as well. Auburn is dreadful on both sides of the ball.

I don't think we will have a problem with Auburn, but Simon is the most significant loss of the three.

I think the Tigers will be fine as a team. Individuals will hopefully step up to play united, and with the talent depth, we should see some exciting play on defense and offense. IMO, it may make for more fireworks on offense this week. Just speculating.

I think we pound the shite out of AU. Like we did FLA. Miles has a way of getting his teams through adversity. This game will be NO different.
