playing some teams every 6 years is no good. play 8 conference games and rotate both cross divisional games. these rivalry games will be even sweeter and will come up often enough. it's too big of a sacrifice to have to play games against some fun damn teams just once every 6 years. hell, at my age i may never see lsu play some teams again.

I thought we played teams in the SEC East every 3 years

At 12 teams, it takes 5 years to play everyone in the east home and away.

if there are 7 teams in the east and we have a permanent game with an eastern foe(so bama et al gets their way) that leaves a rotation with the other 6 teams. 8 conference game schedule.

Spoken like someone who truly doesn't have a rival.

THEN SCHEDULE THE frickIN TENNESSEE - BAMA GAME AS AN OUT OF frickIN CONFERENCE GAME IN YEARS IT'S NOT A CONFERENCE GAME! IF IT'S THAT MUCH OF A RIVALRY TO YOU THEN SO BE IT. YOU BAMA GUMPS COULD GIVE A RATS arse WHAT THE REST OF THE SEC THINKS...BUT GUESS WHAT? WE DON'T GIVE A FLYING frick ABOUT YOUR UT RIVALRY. IF IT ENDS, THEN IT'LL BE YOUR FAULT...YOU CAN SCHEDULE THEM ANY TIME YOU WISH. GOOD GOD YOU frickIN GUMPS ARE STUPID.

Sorry LSU doesn't have a real rivalry, and hasn't had one since 1958 against ole miss. It's not Bama's fault you don't have a tradition. Uga and auburn would also like to keep a tradition going, if you don't mind.
Sorry, but it appears to me this rivalry that was set up between you and Florida hasn't been what you wanted. Sorry you guys haven't had to respect and deal with an instate rivalry in 50 years, either.

Then work it out with AU. Let AU go to the east so y'all can preserve your true rivalries with UT and UGA.

We really don't care if auburn moves to the east as long as we still play them. I'd rather play AU an UT every year than rotate in usc, UK, vandy, and Missouri.

No they can't schedule them as an OOC game when not are the schedule. That would give them one more conference game in the standings.
Lets say LSU and Bama are tied in the west and we won the head to head with them. They then play UT and win. They then have a 1/2 game lead in the west and would win the division.
Not to smart now is it.

So I'm sensing this bothers you a bit?

I think you missed the point of "OOC" game. It wouldn't be a conference game and thus wouldn't count in the standings.

Permanent rivalry gamed will die sooner or later, it is inevitable.

Jesus H Christ! What exactly don't you understand about playing Tennessee every year is it's that big of a deal to you. I have already spelled it out for you and you still don't get it. Are you seriously that frickin stupid? Once-frickin-again...you play each other as non conference games when it's not scheduled as a conference game. What don't you understand? UGA - GT, Fla - FSU, USC - Clemson, Kentucky - UL....they play out of conference games against their big rivals. Bama can't do this? Is it too frickin hard to comprehend? I'm not at all saying you should stop your rivalry game with UT. If it's that important to you, then you will find a way. If not, then it isn't as important as you say. Good God you people are stupid...

No I didn't miss it. I am very sure that it is an impossiblility since both are in conference.

You're going to have to trust me on this one. It happens in other sports every year and happened in college footnall ( not in the SEC) about 4 weeks ago.

Are you to much a DUMB arse to realize you just named nothing but teams that are in diffrent conferences. You can't schedule a conference team as an OOC opponent. You honestly can't be that frickin stupid??????????????????

And who was that 4 weeks ago? Other sports pla no part in this. Football is a diffrent animal all together.
I hate the permenent opponent crap anyway. But we will be stuck with it because of Bama, UT, Auburn, & UGA. Get over it.
