1. Kansas State
2. Oklahoma State
3. Texas A&M
4. Texas Tech

Oklahoma has played a relatively easy schedule up unto this point of the season. Florida State(3-3 (1-2) turned out to be an average A.C.C. school while Texas at the same time has beaten no team of substance. I predict that Oklahoma lose against 1-2 of these 4 schools. I do not believe that Oklahoma has done anything to deserve the #3 B.C.S. ranking they have received other than just being Oklahoma.

This year like past seasons Oklahoma has navigated through a slew of weak opponents while playing the bulk of their competition towards the end of the season. Last year both Texas A&M and Missouri beat the Sooners. I think the next few weeks will determine if Oklahoma is a legitimate National Title Contender or if they are all hype once again.

Prediction: Losses to both Kansas State & Texas A&M.

Oklahoma has OSU's number.

Then who should be #3? Being #3 is not some standard where certain minimums must be met. Its 3rd this year. If not them, state your case for who eve is behind them.

both of those games were on the road, in 2009, they dominated the back half of the schedule. Quit looking for patterns where none exist. What OU has done in the past has no bearing on the 2011 team.

There is no way they lose to A&M at home

It wouldn't surprise me if there are no undefeated teams in the Big 12 at the end of the season.

puff puff pass.

Hardest games remaining as far as I am concerned is K State, followed by OK State and Baylor.

The Sooners play both Kansas State and OSU on the road this year. If I had to pick an upset I would go with Kansas State.

The #3 team in the nation is the Boise State Broncos. They beat Georgia 35-21 in Atlanta decisively. They also have the Winning-est Senior Class in history and have one of the best coaches in the NCAA (6th year, 67–5 (.931)).

I am not a Boise fan but this years team is stacked from top to bottom including having a Heisman worthy QB in Kellen Moore. If they go undefeated they should have a chance to play in the National Championship.

They have done nothing but win. If they lose to K-state, OSU or aTm than they drop. I don't see the point in quibbling about a team's ranking at this point in the year. Most of this will sort itself out.

saying Baylor would be a harder foe than A&M who just beat BU 55-28

a good win, that does not make their schedule overall better than OU.

completely meaningless. The NC is for this season, not the overall record of any one Sr class.

while true, this is also meaningless in terms of who should be in the 2011/12 BCS CG.

that will depend.

Yeah I rank all the road games above the home games, got a problem with that?
A&M will definitely be a challenge at home.

I definitely agree with you that it will work itself out. The difference is that both LSU and Bama have earned the ranking of 1 & 2 because they have beaten solid opponents. Oklahoma has not. I wanted to expand though on who could possible knock them out of the chance to play for a national championship.

This year's BSU team is a step below last year's team. They had two very good WR last year and their receiving corp leaves a lot to be desired. If Wisconsin wins out, there is a very good chance Oregon gets them in an large bid. We just need to get past Stanford.

They really haven't done a damn thing to be in the top 5. Georgia is pretty awful and that's their best win. IDGAF about how many games their senior class or coach have won.
