JP...I am holding out for now...too many unknowns. Bama/lsu/okie/okie st could all win or lose. If I knew which two would win, I would buy those, but too close to call. Not sure if I would spend $6500 for tickets to resell them. I would have to get $1000 each for me to do that. Otherwise not worth the work. It won't be as cheap as last time, as I think I paid $150 each for 10 reserves last time and don't recall the ticket prices being as high. I about broke even.

You have two options, you can sell your options before the BCS announce the matchups or you can keep the options and then buy the tickets. I did the later and sold 4 of my 10 in 2008 and sold two to a buddy of mine and kept the other four for my dad, brother, step brother and myself.

I bought fanforwards for Ohio St, Oregon and Oklahoma. With me selling the 6 tickets, I about broke even.

LSU plaza reserves finally sold out....going for $500 now

I could make $1200 if I sold now! But no way I'm missing us whoop up on Stanford in the BCSCG

Will prices go up immediately after the bama game? That's probably when I'll be buying

lol, yeah prices will shoot through the roof after we beat Bama.

My guess (after win over Bama):

Terrace $700
Plaza $1000
Club $1500

and remember that doesn't include face value of the ticket that you'd end up paying as well once we officially make it

FWIW, I wouldn't wait...I'd buy terrace reserves now. $165 risk to potentially save yourself $500-$1000 PER TICKET down the road. If you lose the $165, who cares? I think the risk is minimal compared to the potential reward

That said, $165 means different things to different people

If you don't buy reserves, are you looking at $1000+ for a terrace ticket when they get thrown on eBay/StubHub? I honestly have no idea since I've never considered going to the BCSCG but will this year...any help is appreciated

Just going by LSU's previous BCSCGs and also the recent year escalation of BCSCG prices on the open market, I think you are looking at the following market prices on Ebay/Stubhub/etc:

Plaza $1000+
Terrace $800+
Club $1500+

Again, that's not official, just a guess but I'd imagine that's fairly close to the open market prices with LSU in the game.

This looks pretty accurate...I picked up 4 LSU Plazas yesterday and will buy 4 Terrace today. Bama's Plazas have sold at $900 after selling out and their Terrace have sold $400-$500...will make some money and keep a few for the big game.

So if I bid today @ $195 and when we beat Bama they go up, does my $195 bid lose out to people bidding higer or do I still get the ticket for face plus the $195 bid if they go to the NC?

Bidding is if you don't want to pay the current, lowest reservation price. Your bid only goes through if someone decides to sell you their reservation. If LSU beats Bama, no one will sell you a reservation for $195.

Right now you could buy 1 Terrace reservation for $165+7%fee. That gives you the right to purchase 1 Terrace ticket for face value if LSU makes it to the game. If LSU beats Bama, 1 Terrace reservation will likely be going for upwards of $500. If LSU does not make it to the BCS NC game, then you are out the $165+7%fee.
