nobody cares. Burton is irrelevant. Nobody's gonna remember his name in 5 years.

Burton is in a way better position than the fans. But since he picked Bama, he's a bitch.

He seriously has 1 play in the bama box score. A 3 yard pass. No rushing attempts.

my thoughts exactly. Also Bama's D is bad arse and so is ours. No sense in comparing them really.

I'm glad he said it. I'd post it all over the locker room if I was Les.

Well it may or may not be true. What is probably true is he is not happy with lsu right now. They just got beat by more then anytime in my lifetime

Even if Bama is a little better on D, I would take our offense over theirs.

Alabama is probably more physical I give them that But I think LSU is deeper and litle faster

I'm sick of this bullshite. Bama isn't more physical than lsu. They run a 3-4 while LSU runs a 4-3. The front 7s are equally physical IMO. Like a previous poster said, Burton had 1 play against bama so he can't quantify his statement. As a result, it just means he's a butthurt bitch. I am especially impressed with Minter lately. I think as a whole LSU is better due to special teams and pure athleticism.

Translation: I'm using the idea that the bama game injuries are why we lost to LSU not because we are an inferior team.

And special teams. And the fact LSU is top 3 in turnover margin and bama is 50.

11 points vs LSU

18 points vs Alabama, including an easy one on the first play and NEARLY another one they didnt quite connect on, on the next drive.

that's the way to compare defenses.

I like the Bama RBs better.

I like the LSU QB's better.

We shall see. RIght now LSU has two injured centers. its a big deal.

He may or may not be correct. We all find out on Nov 5.
Going to be tough to leave AL with a W.
Not only more explosive running game with Trent R but also a Bad a-- defense. In addition, the SEC mafia will be out to frick us over again.
Great Bulletin Board Material. Blow it up and put it on a poster on Skip Bertman Drive ......

This the same guy? From lsusports.net:

From Burton's perspective, I think he's right. Bama played UF much tougher than LSU did. Bama's modus operandi is obviously to control the game with pain.

Watch the Bama vs. UF game again and count the number of times a UF player is body-slammed in the white part of the field. I'm not saying it should have been a penalty, but you can just see that Bama "finishes" every tackle with a little something extra. LSU needs to be prepared, especially Ware. I guarantee that Bama will notice that Ware turns his back to get extra yds. Expect Bama to put a helmet in his kidneys. That game will not be for the feint of heart.
