have to admit I am getting pumped to see UHS vs EHS this week. a rivalry game with district champ implications this year. Both teams are the best they've been for a long time. Should be a good appetizer for LSU vs UF sat.

Woodlawn @ Catholic High

Going to be 1-5 after this week.

Wiener better be enjoying every day he is still employed at CHS, his arse is 90% out the door. They won't fire him, but they sure as hell won't let him be the football coach.

Also, my cousin told me CHS dropped their varsity QB back to JV, and brought up the sophomore JV QB to start this weekend.

I'll be at that game too. EHS surprised me last week. I thought Many would beat them. EHS has some players, but I hear UHigh is loaded.

Not a chance.

BTW My central team is about to get owned by Zachary im afraid to say

Weiner will remember us beatin them on their homecoming last year and also beating him 58-0 the year before that and he will pour it on if he gets the chance (and with Centrals secondary, he will get the chance)

Man I hope you are wrong. I have a ton of respect for Catholic High and it's history. That said as a fan of an opposing school I hope Weiner gets a lifetime contract. Many Catholic Alumni I know are arrogant and obnoxious in their attitudes towards other schools, but I guess that's just part of the deal. It's a great school but keep Weiner as long as possible.

The 4A #7 Teurlings Catholic Rebels travel across town to play the 4A #1 St. Thomas More Cougars

i couldn't tell you the last time those teams played in football. they have avoided each other like the plague.

I'll bump the thread I made if CHS goes 0-6, but I think the general consensus is that it is past time for Wiener to either hit the road or move to another position within the school. He's a great man, and an asset to the school in that way, but a shitty football coach. Money talks, and if the alumni decide it's time to get a new coach, donations dry up, and all of a sudden a new coach finds his way to campus.

Patterson hosts Kaplan friday in a rematch of a 3a regional game last year. Should be a competitive game.

Hopefully the Central coaching staff doesn't go for any more fake punts on their own 25 early in the game.
