District 7-5A Standings:

Westgate - 3-3 (3-0) (3 loses came from Breaux Bridge, John Curtis, STM)
NISH - 4-2 (2-1)
South Lafourche - 2-4 (1-1)
Terrebonne - 2-4 (1-2)
Central Lafourche - 1-5 (1-2)
Thibodaux - 1-5 (1-1)
H. L. Bourgeois - 2-4 (0-3)

What would this district be without the 2 New Iberia schools??

The fascination with Sid Edwards is funny! Dotson ran the Central program when Edwards was the "head coach". Edwards left when the talent went south. He never goes to practice, does zero actual coaching and really doesn't know much football. Went to Menard for one year went 1-9 or 2-8, realized he was never going to be able to get the players there and left. Yeah great football coach! Dotson will get it done, he is a much better "football coach" than Edwards ever thought about being. Central is very young this year, they will be fine.

will certainly be a D1 prospect at QB in a few years

I have seen every down he's played in the JV and varsity games this year, and that is total BS. There have been some good QB's from UHS the past few years (Bailey and Hollingsworth), neither of which made it in D1, and he's nowhere close to being in their league. Would not even be getting varsity PT if not for who's kid he is.

As bad as it has been for years. They didn't want the River Parish Schools back and now they get to travel farther to get their butts kicked. At least had they taken the RP schools back they would have caught HHS and DHS while they are down....but either one would have still won that district.
