I dont know shite about Carolina - I remember last year early we didn't even put up 20 on them but then later (December?) we thrashed them in Charlotte.

Obviously they lost Beason but still seem to be solid - although they haven't faced an offense like ours.

How many points should we put up? Can we run on these cats?

What team are you talking about? I know my saints play the panthers this weekend. I don't know when your team plays them, but it's not this weekend.

They've been torched by just about everybody save for Jacksonville. They lost Thomas Davis on the outside as well-look for Graham to have a big day. I see no way they hold us under 30.

I'm worried about Carolina's offense, not their defense.

It's just weird how every sharp gambler PLUS most of the public really likes Carolina here.

This is a huge game for us - bigger than for them. I think our D is very underrated and that we have the cover CBs to limit Camerons passing options.

We'll be able to run on them all day. If we have methodical drives, we can keep our defense fresh to keep up with them. They're not gonna win many game while they're so soft in the middle.

I actually think this will be bigger for tackling. Steve Smith seems revived (at least so far) and Cam can take off (although he's been staying in the pocket).

If he can get past that D line it could spell trouble for the Saints linebackers and secondary.

Big IF's though...

I say we just pin our ears back and blitz the daylights out of Cam. Make him beat us with his reads and force him to make accurate throws down field. He's gonna run the ball well especially when pressured but his running game is not gonna be able to keep up with Brees and our high scoring offense.

we make a few key plays on defense and we win easy IMO.

Was thinking the same.
Don't stop the entire game. Let Mal keep him in front.
Thats why I put smith on my ff bench.
