People still insist on fall weekend weddings...then complain when guests are checking scores on phones or gathering around TVs at the reception.

Now's the time to tell the wife that you saw the husband cheating on her. Or to try to make the moves on the wife and then make sure the husband finds out.

According to the "no team 3 times in a row" on CBS logic from yesterday this will put the Auburn game at night on ESPN, although I think that will be the most attractive game assuming LSU and Aubs are both undefeated in SEC play come Oct 22.
Auburn could be 6-1 and on the outskirts of the top 10. Bama/Tenn is the only other decent SEC matchup that weekend, and Tenn could be 3-3 for that game.

Wake up, go from my hotel to the bar, walk to Neyland Stadium before kickoff, walk from Neyland Stadium after game back to the bar and watch Florida/Auburn.

I'm a little annoyed that it's a day game, since I'm making the trip to Knoxville...but having at least big-name SEC opponent on Saturday Night in Death Valley makes up for it

Same here but not NOLA. Self imposed media and phone blackout. But I hate watching sporting events via the DVR knowing that the game is complete and I don't know the result.

If Tennessee loses to Georgia this weekend and has two conference losses and Auburn wins at Arkansas this weekend, I don't see how CBS can pass up Auburn/LSU for Tennessee/Alabama. I guess we'll see.

If CBS doesn't take Tenn-Bama, they'd go from Oct 1st until Nov 5th between Alabama telecasts. I just don't see them doing that.

3:30pm games in Knoxville are the prefect time. The sun will be off the field by the second Qt. and by the 3rd dawn will start to set in. Also, you'll have from 7:30pm til ya go to bed to party!!!!!!!!!

Market Square will be rocking!!!

True, but LSU/Auburn could be two top 10 teams with one of them being No. 1, and Tennessee could be 3-3.

Seems like a no-brainer to me

No way. ESPN will not pass this game up. Plus there are no other games in the SEC that week, that are better even if AU losses a couple more.

The great news about this is that it looks like Auburn will be a night game. I dont think CBS would put us on 3 weeks in a row and we have already moved one game to the 11:21 kickoff and I think that it is only once a season that you have to move to accomodate the SEC game of the week so looks to me Auburn at night and that is what we want.

I'm getting used to the day games, especially when they are away. I just hate CBS. Verne is losing it and they take commercials literally every other minute it seems.

Anyone else remember commercial-palooza during the LSU-Tenn game last year?

Frick CBS!!!!
I have a 35 foot outdoor screen with HD projector that I like to watch away games on. Obviously can't do that now.
Will be coming back from a golf trip in Florida at that time--guess I'll be listening on the radio.
On the brighter side, maybe Auburn will be at night and we will have the stadium rockin'!
