Garmisch - I actually don't dislike PJ, because he believes what he believes so strongly - his enthusiasm for his own certitude is extremely entertaining. In the past, occasionally it seemed like we were getting through to him, but typically he simply won't have it.
I'm offering this softball on the outside chance he'll take it and knock it out of the park. That's the least I can do. I agree with him in this thread.
(Was that the sound of the opening the Seventh Seal?)
ETA: I agree with PJ in the 8-0 thread, too. There is a strange disturbance in the force.

Florida walks into a bar and the bartender says "your new QB sucks you have no chance against LSU" :rimshot:

His friendship with LSUTANGERINE is inexcusable, tho. Maybe it's the caps.

admit that you were wrong in the past when you asserted Larry Coker was a much better coach than Les Miles
I am being serious here. I don't think I ever said that coker was a better coach than Miles. I may have said Saban was a better coach but not Coker.

However, on the other hand, ANYTIME I catch myself starting to agree with you, in the slightest, I have to do a reality check. I have to question: "Have I lost my mind? Have I crossed over to the Bizarro Rant where PJ is a genius? Have I had a stroke?", etc.
I really do know what I am talking about. Alot of people have been DOOPED by me thinking I am a dipshit. PLUS ALOT on here can't handle facts that I bring so they resort to flaming and name calling. I have been following College football for over 45 years, anyone that doubts my ability to talk about it is a fool.

The Florida Gators all die and go to Heaven. St Peter meets them at the pearly gates "tough luck on getting killed by those tigers, would've helped had you had my man Tebow instead of that kid for a quarterback"

[Not a hijack, but a slight detour]

1990, mid-year. Until they change it again, I am the last LSU ROTC early-commissioned cadet.

Okay. You asked for it....

ETA: That thread is full of PJ fail.

By "may have said", do you mean, "Said it over and over and over again, to convince not only others but myself and as recently as 2010"?

I gotta admit - you pretty well have me "dooped"(sic) on that point.

By no means, I don't doubt your ability to "talk" about it. It's just that very often you're crazy as all get out.
Heck I agreed with you on 2 topics today (Florida is no joke and 8-0). Let us consider this a new beginning.

I gave him a chance Choctaw - you saw it. I floated a nice fat pitch, centered and out over the plate. All he had to do is hit it.

I must have been REALLY DRUNK that night. Don't remember that unless I was trying to piss Rocket off.

I'm bumping the shite out of that thread if we make it to the SECCG

Go ahead I deserve it. However Miles has turned the corner with me. I am a huge fan of his and I dare anyone to give me 5 better coaches in the country. However CHOC, if LSU has a so-called bad game this sat night they may get beat.

with bama being the exception...i think our offense could have a few off games the way our defense has been playing.
if the WRs catch the damn ball the UK game isn't even close. Well...it wasn't close anyways but you get my point.

My bad - I swear I've seen complimentary verbiage about Tang attributed to you in a sig quote somewhere before.

LSU has played true freshmans before at QB and we beat good teams
Did you see Driskel in their last game? Or the little bit he played in the game before that one?
He looks completely unprepared and that won't be fixed in 4 days.
That being said, I don't ever take playing Fl lightly but I'm really not concerned. He can hand off to Demps and Rainey all day. The box will be loaded.
