I am my friends love LSU, people booing are douche bags. Instead of booing, my first though was, well at least he put that redshirting JJ shite to bed.

I didn't boo, but I did say "what the frick is Les thinking?" I'm all for JJ getting back in the swing of things, I just didn't like Les putting him in after less than half a week of practice. I didn't really think the boos were directed at JJ, although some people will not like him regardless
Here's what CLM was thinking: We aren't playing Bama or Florida, or hell, even Tennessee, therefore, putting JJ in at 6 INCHES and goal against a cupcake isn't that risky. Plus, it gives me a chance to give a giant 'frick YOU' to the so-called 'fans' who were happy that a member of this team was being railroaded by LE simpley because he doesn't play awesome enough for them.
Please. We were playing KENTUCKY. It's not like CLM subbed JJ for JL on the first drive against Bama or Florida, so stop acting like it was this make or break situation. He showed JJ (and the team, BTW) where he stood by putting JJ in FOR ONE PLAY early on against a cupcake. Quit pretending he made a risky call that might have cost us a game, because it's a bullshite excuse.
And the majority of people boo'ing where boo'ing JJ not a fricking 6 and inches against Kentucky.

Now listen, it ain't Jordan Jefferson's fault he is inserted into the game. Coach calls your name, you go in the game.
But when your Coach pulls a stunt like that more than one time and continues to do that and the disruptions result in penalties and clock issues, well, this is the reason we don't see coaches in PeeWee, High School, College, and the NFL do not pull the starting qb at the goal line.
This is how I feel. I just hope this all goes away soon

This, too, but don't try to get in the way of the JJ haters from bitching and moaning about a fricking 6 and inches and one series against f'ing Kentucky.

well at least now no redshirt right ?

The only people associated with LSU who were upset about that call were the fans.
Not the people who pay Leslie's salary. God damn those people those fricking spenders!!

This is the most accurate statement I have seen on this thread the one thing that could have been added is the arrogance of a coach that would do this is unbelievable. Hale to King Les.

I agree. Terrible coaching decision that invited all kinds of problems for the team.
Why? Going by the tweets and comments from the team post-game, they're all on the same page.
quote:
I mean, really, your starting qb drives the team the length of the field and the coach pulls at the goal line because he wants the best chance to score at that time. I call bs on Miles for that
I will be looking for your similar comments from '10 when CLM sub'd JL for JJ after JJ had driven the team down the field...likewise, I'm sure there's a record of your concern over CLM sub'ing RP for Flynn on a short and goal sit after Flynn had driven the team down the field. I am positive I will find them, because I am certain that someone who speaks as passionately as you do are not a flaming hypocrite.
quote:See the post above, and see every college coach who used a two QB system. Seriously, were you yacking about how f'd up it was for CUM to put Tebow in for Leak back in the day?
1. Tells starting qb I don't have faith in you to get it into the endzone.
quote:See above.
2. Tells team you don't have faith in qb to get points on the board.
quote:
3. Tells all running backs that to score on the goal line the best thing to do is bring a qb off the bench and call a qb sneak.
LMAO. Now you are just being dumb. Did you post this shite back when RP was being called in for single short and goal plays in '07?

OH, I get it now. I was watching the real game, where none of this happened, and you were smoking some serious crack. Cool, never mind.
Thanks for the win CLM!

Thank for once again proving the intelligence level of the know-it-alls around here.
Just remember Les Miles is better at his job than you will ever be at yours, assuming of course that anyone would be dumb enough to hire you.

I do think the fans booing might help team chemistry as Miles can, once again, play the Us against the World card with his team, which he is real good at.
Meh, several times later in the game the team was feeding off of crowd noise. It was one play. It will be forgotten in a week. You people are making way to big a deal about this. FWIW, I think it was risky if nothing else to put JJ in right there. Probably wasn't the best decision. I didn't boo and I did cheer the touchdown

Ohh that hurts. Considering this comes from someone that has had the time to post almost 13,000 times in 3 years and obviously has no life it means nothing.

Les saw a chance to put 6 on the board for sure and he took it............ end of story

It should serve as an inspiration to you.

The problem is the smart part isn't it?
