Really good. Tons of choices. I had the alligator sausage and the Beef Dog. I would say they had ten sausage or dog choices, and 15 toppings.

$5 for a hotdog
$6 for sausage

The buns are unique, they are like a soft bread where a loaf is taken, the two ends, cut off then the loaf is cut in half, and then split and grilled.

I really recommend it for a quick lunch if you are in the Tulane/Loyola area for lunch one day. Kinda a dingy very cramped place, but a damn good Dog.

Come try Frankie's Dawg House in BR... Similar price for a dog/sausage/alligator sausage/etc. with any fixing you could think of. Best I've ever had.

I love a grilled bun. Might have to give it a try once I get back down to my cheats or ok weight.

I wish they cooked their dogs/sausages longer. I like mine a little burnt and a nice "snap" when I bite into it.

I had the sausage the one time I went. It tasted good and the toppings and bun were solid, but it was hard to chomp through the casing. Needed more snap! Needed to be cooked longed IMO

I like a good dog about twice a year. Agreed, it gotta have the snap or its like trying to break boudin in an undercooked casing.

finally tried this place today

had the chicago style dog and tbh the toppings kinda overwhelmed the dog.. but the flavor was amazing. loved the fresh tomatos and the two different kinds of pickles alongside a really good dog.

the best part though, was the bun... unfortunately I didn't get to try it by itself until the last bite when I just had a bit of bread left, but I'm thinking about just getting a dog on a bun next time I go.

I've been here a few more times since starting this thread.

The Kielbasa is money, as are the alligator sausage and the hot brat... I think their digg is better than company or Tru as well..
