In BR for the game, but have heard from a handful of friends that have made it to Morgantown and they have nothing but positive reviews.

Most in my circle think the game could be close and a real good "road" test for the Tigers.
But if the D plays as they have, and the O doesn't turn it over, a 15 to 20 pt. margin is expected in our favor.

There were a few very polite Duck fans.

They knew they were in for it. After all, they were #3 but LSU was #4 and neither side had played a down with their new starters and freshmen.

I dont think anyone is really worried about WV. Sorry guy.

I know the spread is only 5.5. I guess that means that in Vegas, there are still guys from WV willing to bet on the game.

If you look at the Tiger rant "prediction" thread, many LSU fans think LSU will DOUBLE the score that WV makes.
35-17 is pretty common as the guess.
Less than 15% think it will be a tight game at the end.

LSU's defense is fabulous and DEEP. That will minimize what WV can do. The only weakness in the LSU defense is the LB crew which includes a guy I would rather not have on the squad, but that's just me, I guess. He blew coverage on two TDs in the Ark game taking bad routes to the ball. Now he is a LB.
He jumped offsides and gave MSU their 2nd field goal, keeping a drive alive. The other field goal was scored after a 2nd string safety launched himself in an unsportsmanlike attempt to decapitate the WR, who was short of the line needed for a first down. Thus, both MSU scores were ONLY due to penalties.

Do not count on scoring at all. That way, if you do, even if its already LSU 21 when WV puts up a field goal at the end of the first half, you can feel real good about scoring at all on the mighty LSU defense. 17 of the two deep on defense have at least one tackle for a loss, so far. There are several DBs who will play in the NFL if they keep their health. Several. Enjoy trying to complete passes with them all over your WRs.

Peace. Out. O

How about the interactions with Oregon fans coming here to post vs. WVU fans

Oregon posters sucked for the most part, they didn't take kindly to our kind.

More buzz for Oregon because we had such a long lead up until the game. Usually a lot of buzz for OOC games against ranked opponents though.

WVU fans on this board are generally more acceptive of their impending defeat but hold out hope. Oregon fans were flat out delusional. WVU fans think they have a shot to win. Oregon fans thought they were gonna blow us out.

I had a ticket and plans to go to Dallas but couldn't due to work. I had plans to go to WVU but no ticket--still couldn't go due to work.

Had a great time last year with WVU fans--had bunches over to our tailgate. They couldn't decide if they enjoyed the food more or the fact that the ground was flat

I'm looking forward to a great game tomorrow night. Hopefully our D will shut you out.

I realize the general level of education is much lower down there in the bayou, but let's try to stay on topic here.

Now why were they saying that Missouri was the front runner to join the SEC and not WVU ?

it's really this simple.if wvu can find a way to shut down lsu's running game we stand a very good chance at winning. if wvu can not stop lsu's power running game, it will be a very very long night for us gold and blue faithful.

People keep saying this like this guy is talking trash. Holding out hope that your top 25 team wins a night home game is fine, and I don't think it warrants crow eating. That being said....

Personally, I'm more plugged into this game than I was for Oregon while sidetracked with the conference realignment stuff at the same time. I think the WVU fans have been great and there seems to be a lot of similarities with ours.

Don't forget though... for us, we still have: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Arkansas (among others). WVU, while having a decent shot, is not the biggest target on the remaining season. If we lose this game, we can still win the NCG in theory (although a loss probably means that those other four games will be even more problematic than they currently appear).

LSU is going to run the football...

WVU has no running at all..

On paper, strengths vs. strengths, I don't see WVU pulling out a victory...

LSU will have to cough up the football for WVU to win this game
