We only seat 60,000 Idk what starkville seats, but you will think its a lot more when saturday night comes. The way the stadium sits, it is extremely loud.

Was 63,500 but they put in some more luxory stuff and decreased the capacity. We have had almost 70,000 there for a game though.. With renovations and proposed closing of the one endzone it will put capacity up to about 75,000 I believe. But believe me, that 60,000 sounds like about 90,000 because of how the stadium sits within the mountains.

Good, it'll get us ready for our home games.

A good nickname for this stadium would be Turchin North

Ranked louder than Alabama and South Carolina. This ranking has us as the 22nd loudest, Georgia 21, Auburn 20, Miss. State 19, Tennessee 9th, Florida 2, and LSU 1.

LINK

Milan Puskar Stadium, home of Mountaineer Field and West Virginia University, wasn't a stadium that many would consider amongst the loudest, but on September 18, the 60,000 fans in attendance reminded us what they're capable of.

The crowd was rocking and their sound bounced onto the field like few crowds are capable of doing. It isn't every week that the Mountaineers get roaring, but when they do it's quite a scene.

That's not saying much since yesterday LIl Nicky had to practically beg his fans to yell and stay for the whole game vs Arkansas. Another thing, when we renovate, we add 10 000 seats. When you renovate you take away seats. nuff said.

wait till game time
i have this strange feeling that the game tomorrow between these two fan bases is going to set a record at mountaineer field that will never ever be matched.

since this is the first year that mountaineer field now sells beer in the stadium. these two fan bases will take in a record fill of alcoholic fun.

I wish I could be there. My Uncle Kenny is a huge 'Eer fan from Lincoln Co. WV. He's in Lubbock, TX these days and the two of us have been whining to each other about not being able to make this game.

Morgantown beats StarkVegas hands downs if for no other reason than the fact that YOU CAN GET COLD BEER AT A GAS STATION IN MORGANTOWN!!! ('Nuff said.)

Oh yeah. . . and they sell BEER in their stadium! (More than enough said, and another reason I wish I was goin' to this game!)
