Missouri to the SEC?

That is what ESPN is reporting. The SEC must really want the Kansas City and St Louis markets.

And, more than likely, Auburn to the East.

How do AU fans feel about that possibility? I'd be stoked. A lot easier path to the SECG in the east.

SEC wants some TV markets, and it makes sense even though it is not who I would have wanted.

maybe Mizzou is a good in that they wont really shake things up in football that much; but still a "name" school to add to the conference and help bball.
is there an end game/plan to all of this...seriously? Absolute clusterfrick across all conferences.
BCS likely done when the contract expires...

Not for long probably. I love how people here just forget how terrible the West was just a few years ago.

I'm talking right now though. The East won't catch up to the West anytime soon.

Great for adding tv markets, but this waters down the SEC. Columbia is as far from the South as it gets, regarding culture.

Hopefully they move Bama and Auburn to the East and bring Vandy to the West. If not, Mizzou would need to be in the East, because the permanent rivalries won't work otherwise.

Get ready for a shitty fanbase who think they've been a national name for years.

lolol really?

I can see why Mizzou is watering it down, but not aTm. They had a very, very good football program in the 80;s and 90's that fell on some tough times. Hopefully the last couple of years are an indicator of things to come.

Yep. They probably will never be a Top 10 nationally in the SEC, but IF they do, watch out.
The year Kansas and Mizzou were in the Top 10.. 2007 I believe? Absolutely fricking terrible

I could see Oklahoma and Texas in the PAC 12 because they're more national brands but (maybe I'm wrong) not Mizzou or Okie State...they appear so tied to their region, sort of strange (for the PAC 12) and not a fit at all.
If they had to come to get expansion out west, forget it. It's not worth losing your conference identity for a few extra dollars.

i dont think the SEC cares about tv markets
tv markets are pretty irrelevant when it comes to CFB
