Agreed lsu grad, they know Kentucky is bad this year, and that we look great. They're just trying to avoid a dud in a prime-time time slot.

That being said, for our team, regardless of the time of day that we play, I hope to see us dominate and not take Kentucky lightly. All SEC teams are dangerous to play, especially when they're having a terrible season.

Would be great to be a night game since we have so few games in the TS this year.

We only get 1 Tigervision game a season with the new ESPN contract.

How does the pecking order work. I though CBS gets first choice (top two that weekend) which would be UF/Bama at night and then USC-Aubie at 230, that leaves SEC network with the third pick to choose between MSSt-UGA and UK-LSU. Right?

I’m still shocked CBS chose Alabama-Florida for the night game. They only select one primetime game each season and LSU-Alabama seemed like a lock to me. I guess it’s a good thing though, would suck playing that game at night.

well right now the only guaranteed one will be WKU. arky's a done deal for the daytime.

leaving AU and UF.

UF looks like it will be 2:30

my advice, if you want AU to be a night game (and i realy do) hope and pray AU drops a few more games and that tenn doesn't so that CBS will take bama vs tenn that weekend.

Against possibly #1 vs #2 in what may be called the de facto national championship game if oklahoma stumbles. LSU-Alabama will get higher ratings then Alabama-Florida

The "we are LSU, therefore we deserve night games" argument makes us sound as pretentious as Notre Dame.

You've got it wrong here as well. it's "we are LSU, therefore we have a tradition of night games"

Agree with this 100%. If the league can preserve Bama vs Tenn, then they can step up and preserve LSU's greatest tradition - Saturday Night in Death Valley.

If this makes me a Rantard, then I'm proud to join the club. I understand membership is around 93,000.

Nope, seems like CBS likes to have a night game in October usually. That's why if LSU is on the CBS primetime game it's usually the UF game not the Alabama game

LSU's night games are as much of a tradition as MSU's cowbells. Either LSU plays all night games, or MSU can't have their cowbells!!!
