The stats against Miss State are similar in comparison:

Auburn:
1st Downs 21
Total Yards 381
Passing 146
Rushing 235
Penalties 7-85
3rd Down Conversions 4-12
4th Down Conversions 1-1
Turnovers 1
Possession 23:53

LSU:
1st Downs 21
Total Yards 361
Passing 213
Rushing 148
Penalties 9-83
3rd Down Conversions 4-12
4th Down Conversions 0-0
Turnovers 1
Possession 37:50

I know it's at Jordan-Hare and they probably under-estimated Auburn but even if all 4 of our field goals go for TDs that's still only 35 pts.

They had two interceptions for TDs. It's like the LSU/OM game last year. It's how the game develops.

Well, AU had a INT return for a TD and several short fields, as I recall.

finishing in the red zone. Like u just said if we finish thats 35, just one more touchdown gives you 41. turnover? interception or KO/punt return and there it is.

We have been in the redzone 15 times this year and have 12 TDs and 3 FGs. I think that is pretty good.

Well when your defense is giving up 42 points, youre in more of a hurry to score and need the scores more in a way

Time of possesion shows that. We controlled the clock, that game had two spread offenses trying to score as fast as possible

But when your defense is holding them to 2 field goals te entire game, youre going to play more safe and try and hold on to the ball

disagree. Our offense is as good as it needs to be. With our defense, we can afford to play it conservative on offense.

They had a Pick-6 and 2-3 big plays that resulted in quick TDs. LSU liked to methodically drive down the field and stall in the redzone. AU solved this problem by just scoring quickly on a big play from outside the redzone.

Can't stall in the RZ if you never get there.

Their offensive play-calling was less conservative. We were extremely cautious in the first and fourth qtr.
