New "enhanced" pat downs at Dome and other NFL Stadiums

Apparently the NFL was stepping up pat downs at security this season, but b/c of the guy that brought a tazer to the jets/cowboys game lastweek they are really enforcing it from now on.

So we can expect longer lines to get in the dome and it will be pretty hard to bring in a flask to combat the $9 beers. Oh well...

ridiculous, just an excuse to make sure you dont bring in any food or booze so they can charge you exhorbitant prices

I usually don't bring a flask, but I decided to this year because of the ever-rising prices of beers in the dome. I probably will be putting one in my crotch this week and see how serious the pat downs are.

The patdowns were never too thorough the begin with, they'll probably just do what they were supposed to do know.

Enhanced pat downs in response to this are dumb. The guy whith the taser had it on his belt, he disnt try to hide it, security thought it was a cell phone.

I think this every-time, they never even check the waistline, which is where most people keep guns. I mean the check your sides more thoroughly, what am I? Dirty Harry with a shoulder holster?
Never have a problem with sneaking Booze in, I was a pro at it back in my LSU student section days.

Just and follow up on the new pat down procedure for guys.
Dome security did the normal "back of the hand" pat down to the waist and if you had long pants on then they also patted you down from the knee down.
It really didn't take any more time then normal.
