I'm asking a question. He certainly could be a contributor, don't know how it will turn out for him, I hope well. But it's fair question to ponder.

we could use his running to stetch the field out horizontally

a LITTLE misdirection would be nice, but I do understand we are using/showing as little as we have to. Yes, RS will be a huge asset!

I wish we could mmove Blue to middle linebacker. I bet he could play better than Hatcher with absolutely no knowlege of hte chavis schemes

Blue is already a better tackler just from watching KO team

True. Teams have to respect his speed.

He has about 500 yds rushing averaging nearly 7 per carry for his career (including runs of 69 and 50 yds). And he's scored 6 TDs.

For the amount of touches he has, that's not bad. He remains a threat, and I will be very glad to have him back on the field.

not once has he taken a true QB snap.

Really? He did this how many times in the early part of 2009?

Definitely. RS will get plenty of playing time.

You forgot last season where he was 2nd on the team in receptions.

I can't see how playing without Shep won't turn into a blessing. Several young players have been forced into early action and responded very well. That said Shep is still the biggest break away threat we have. He will make us better because defenses will have to know where he is all of the time.

Wtf have you seen from blue that makes you think that? Not a god damn thing. Last year he played very well and he hasn't hardly carried the ball this year except last week in which he did well. Dumbest thing I have seen max post in like two hours. Not saying he is great but we dunno yet.

As far as shep goes and tje drops, last year was his first year at wr, ever think he might have gotten better? There was a reason he was starting. I don't think he should start next week though, work him in slowly and move him around and in the slot.

Shep is going to be a big contributor in our offense. He is our biggest homerun threat. He'll contribute 70 yards of offense vs WV.

Agree. Shep's a very gifted athlete and will always be a playmaker.

We are three games into the season. We have beaten two top-25 ranked teams. Can people stop bitching?

Shep will be one of the 3 starting WR's against West Va. With Lee at QB he will be unstoppable....

I feel bad for him if they told him he could have a chance at Qb. A pure waste of talent since he has been here.

He did. He couldn't be better than #3 on the depth chart. It'll be interesting to see if we use him as a running option this year with JJ out.

Ummm no.. He is what this offense is missing. We need someone who has big play ability, Shepard is it. I am very glad he will be back for WV.

no. shep will and has to start. we need an explosive player on offense. last night we scored exactly 1 td. you can't march the ball for 60 -70 yards against sec defenses with 4 yd. avg runs and 7 yd. passes

odb has been a pleasant surprise BUT he avg. 7 yards per catch last night compared to ware avg. 5 yards per run. WE NEED SHEP BACK.

shep, odb, ford, and randle on the field at same time is a POTENTIALLY explosive group.
