Guys, people are paid for writing pieces like this by the ads on the site around the article. Of course it is wrong to copy the whole article onto this site (which also sells ads that get seen because of content).

Copying whole articles - even free ones - can cause legal trouble for Chicken/any site owner.

"When Brockers (four tackles, three for loss on Thursday) comes out, 287-pound sophomore Bennie Logan (five tackles, 3.5 for loss) enters the fray. When defensive end Kendrick Adams (three tackles, two for loss, one forced fumble, one pass break-up) gets a blow, Imperial Intergalactic Overlord Barkevious Mingo (one forced fumble) takes his place."

Fricking Awesome stuff right there!

You may think I'm a little loopy, but I know better than to let the offense screw things up for this amazing defense.
Love it.

wonder if the coaching staff will continue years to come preparing the defense the way they did in the offseason. definitely seems to have worked wonders for conditioning.

This is a very special team. I think once you win a championship the team tends to get complacent the next few years, but I don't know how many starters on this team from 2007, but it's not many (baker, Blackwell, hatcher, lee ottomh). I just this team has that fire to go out and get it.

Andy Staples is referencing the Lord Mingo meme created by EDSBS in 2009 when KeKe was still uncomitted to LSU: LINK

EDSBS was also pushing Mingo for Name of the Year contest which he won: LINK

It's been a running gag ever since.
