Raiders and 49ers were the best teams. Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson were unstoppable and so was Jerry Rice.

I always liked using the Steelers. They weren't that good on offense, but they had Woodson at CB who was fast as hell. And the Giants with David Meggett at RB and Lawrence Taylor at LB.

I always played as the Bills.

Don Beebe caught everything and Bruce Smith and Cornelius Bennett on the D Line dominated

The Giants were the best IMO. Good on both sides of the ball. I used to play TSB on my ps2 till it stopped reading the disks. I have a good bit of customized TSB games. I know there are emulators for the pc but, to me it is not as fun as the big screen. My kids love to play TSB as well.

The Lions were good b/c Barry Sanders was untouchable. I played a season where I was averaging around 500 yard a game with him. Obviously I passed like twice a game.

Giants and Bears defenses were insane on the original Tecmo. I would block 4-5 XP or FG with LT.

The Niners were the best team hands down. Had stellar players everywhere and the Montana to Rice combo is nearly unstoppable.

The single most dominant offensive player in the game is QB Eagles (Cunningham). Great passing to go along with a ridiculous 56ms (max speed).

Here is a breakdown of teams in order of best to worst...

We still play Tecmo Super Bowl at the tailgate every Saturday. We hook the laptop up the the big screen and run an emulator on the laptop. We use an usb adapter with 2 N64 controllers.

ETA: I play with the Redskins, but Christian Okoye for the Chiefs is UNSTOPPABLE!

Same here.

Thurman Thomas was a beast. I always played on defense as one of the linebackers and I would get through nearly every time.
