I didn't say that at all. He looks great, and will continue to develop until he's in a position to take things over. Right now, per Les Miles and Mettenberger, his maturity and decision making are not such that would allow him to start. He said this himself during an interview just before the season, but he must be wrong as well, right? Remember the army on the rant last year that just knew Lee was lights out ahead of JJ?

there must be a bunch of little kids at their mommys house on the board. tonight. i have never seen mop up duty for a back up give him such strong support. sad part is i look forward to having him start next year. there just so happens to be someone better than him on the team right now and his name is lee.

regardless of how talented Mett may be, he isnt the starter and barring a serious injury he wont be until next year.
