Just think about it... the West teams would have to beat out six others to make it to Atlanta while the East needs to deal with only five? None of the West teams would stand for it.

Actually, you really don't have to think long about it. Ain't gonna happen. The SEC would not have admitted A&M if WVU wasn't already in the bag.

Two seven team divisions in 2012. It ain't rocket science.

I've seen at least three posters suggest the SEC could stop at 13.

What would it take for everyone to realize that FSU is not coming to the SEC?

I do believe the SEC already has a 14th member, and FSU is not that school. It's possible that maybe VA Tech accepts an invite, but I doubt that one too.

We are going to have to accept the fact that the 14th member is probably not going to be the most desired.

FSU is not coming. Florida is a whinny bitch and would never allow another Fl school. Same for SoCar and Clemson. It's NC State or WVU or Va Tech.

Really? If you read this link UF sponsored FSU for 15 years to get into the league as well as sponsoring the Canes. Do you have a LINK to what UF is doing now or are you just spouting off your opinion?

sorry no cut and past option

The irony behind their lengthy plight, as unimaginable as it may sound, was not due in part to the organization whose fans had proclaimed FSU's cowardice in the final days leading up to the Seminoles' joining of the Atlantic Coast Conference in the late Summer of 1990. Instead, FSU would find that the University of Florida—was for many years, its repeated advocate for admission into the conference.
