ESPN.com

Also #5 in average of all Power Rankings.

Packers, Pats, Steelers, and Eagles are ahead of them.

Fail-cons on our tail.

These power rankings mean less than the preseason college poll, which is a tough thing to accomplish. It does show, however, that they are hittin the packers kool-aid like a kid born in a doublewide.

I agree. But it's Saints related. Itching for some more football. I post

I've got no issue(s) with these rankings. Probably pretty accurate but we'll start finding out starting tomorrow - thank God!

The Saints and Falcons are interchangable I think.

No big deal. We ended last season with a thud. We have to prove ourselves again. I'm glad. I think the team will be hungry.

I was actually expecting us to be lower than that. And the NFL doesn't work like the BCS, so we don't have that to worry about if we linger around #5 all year long.

I've seen us ranked as low as 9 or 10. Meh. Personally I think we're one of the more complete teams in the NFL.

I still have questions about the defense. But I know. Vanilla.

I love the stat I saw recently that every team that went undefeated in the preseason in recent history has had a terrible regular season record - like the 0-16 lions a few years ago.

Our coaching staff is way to smart to show anything significant in preseason.

I wouldn't say there isn't reason for concerned in the defense, especially our DE's and OLB's, but it's too early to tell what we have. I do know that our Secondary is our strength, and in a passing league, that's important.

Eagles are overrated. They won't even win their own division, much less the nfc.

Here is a link to the average Power ranking from eight sites. Interesting that NFC South has three teams in top ten.

The Eagles in front on us is downright criminal.

Why? They made a ton of moves that if the Saints had made you guys would be drooling over. Hell, if the Falcons had made those kinda moves I'd be smack talkin' a lot more!

It's basically what Miami did with Lebron and that whole group. They're gonna be known as "failures" but they still played in the Championship. Not saying Philly will be playing for it - but it wouldn't shock me if they did.
