This is no sweat off the SEC's back. Only accepting A&M if there is no threat of legal action. If there is? So be it, we won't take them.

A&M has left the Big XII. Do you want the Pac-12 or B1G to get the Texas TV markets and put a large gap financially between themselves and the SEC?
With that comes better coaches and better facilities. The SEC will still be ok because the South has the best athletes but it would lose its dominance

He was rejected from A&M and had to go to a second tier school in Arkansas.
Honestly, the SEC hasn't really had to endure much. They said get your stuff in line and we will vote you in. A&M has had to endure some potholes, but for the most part, everything is going to happen.

I haven't dealt with any sheet. I've just enjoyed watching the constant changing news story. I don't think the SEC has had to deal with any sheet either. The only ones remotely close to dealing with sheet is TAMU and the Big XII Presidents, and that's no skin off of my back.

I think it is. The PAC is trying to increase it's power and influence, and if the SEC doesn't move on A&M and keep stride I can see the SEC losing it's perception of strength and influence long term, if nowhere else but the state of Texas and the Texas recruits as well as with the media.

Hmmm. I can pick up a flagship university, one of the 10 largest in the US (which surpassed the 50K enrollment for the first time in its history -- congrats on that
), with over 1/2 million alumni, mainly concentrated in the second-largest state in the US, and predominantly in two of the top 10 media markets. Nah. We'll take TCU instead. They have a Waffle House and you don't.
