Best part NO OPTION TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT PLAYS.

We'll have to throw it better, and I fully expect that to happen. We need to keep in mind that the only experienced pass catchers were Randle and Peterson. Beckham, Boone, Wright, Landry will come around. Their feet are wet now, I expect they'll improve rapidly.
agree... but we need to CATCH IT BETTER.
I saw 4 easy catches dropped.

We had the right people on the field at the right time. No illegal substitution penalties.

Two legit drops.
Three or four catchable balls that were defended.

Seems about right.
The two legit drops were the first pass of the game to Blue and the first pass to Clement.

Give credit where credit is due. The coaches and the QB and the entire team were in sync. And for the guy wanting to race bait, the black and the white players, all did a great job, along with all races of coaches.

Thanks Grand Wizard.
Hey, you didn't deny it, so we all now know where you stand. I can safely ignore your posts now. Thanks.

I was just glad to see so many incompletions touching human beings on the field instead of turf or guys on the sidelines

Meh. By far, the biggest difference was setting up plays and calling plays against the defense being run instead of just calling random plays in the hopes that they work.
I also love the fact that when something was working, we didn't automatically abandon it never to be seen again.

This was also great. The PA quick lob to Peterson and the PA long pass to Beckham were great calls and executed very well.

Another thing, we got touchdowns instead of field goals (for the most part) while in the red zone. How many of our drives stalled the last few years in the red zone?
Also, we put the game to bed. When we scored that last touchdown, we put the game out of reach. We let far too many teams back in the game by not getting lost late touchdowns the last few years (even though we won most of them).

Again, the offense was very reminiscent of the Cotton Bowl - a game called by Stud and Miles with the Stormin Mormon sitting in the booth playing pocket pool.
66% rush to 33% pass, with play action and down the field passing used to keep the safeties back.

the first pass to Clement.
would probably count as a PBU. kinda hard to see, but the Oregon player reaches in and strips the ball out while taking him down. outside of that freshman kid Randle was getting the best of, their DBs were pretty solid.

Absolutely. We pounded and pounded them with Ware. They were completely worn out. Then we hit them with some Ford and started to gash them. We held the ball for basically the entire 3rd quarter as well. After that, they were done.

I don't know. Clement had it for a full second before it was jarred loose on a hit.

Absolutely. I wouldn't be shocked it UO goes 11-1. Stanford will be their tough game. They should coast through the rest of the PAC12. USC is fricking garbage.

just playing devil's advocate, but if Crowton didn't call the Cotton, did he also not call Ole Miss?
