The gold helmets LSU wears every game have "goofy" stickers on them. Those logos aren't painted on to our regular helmets.

I know I'm an old fogey (48) but LSU's Uniform is perfect and the most beautiful uniform in football at any level. Any desecration of any kind for any reason is an abomination and the person responsible should be beaten with their changed helmet or choked with the uniform.

Why can't they just create a new take on a classic uni (one of the best in college football). Purple arm pits and purple collar. Really? Why in the name of God did they do that. What exactly in the 100 year history of football suggests that collars and armpit highlights are important. Who thinks that looks good? The 14 year old that designed it?

Well, you have 20 years on me, but that doesn't mean I don't like the tradition of our uniforms just because I'm not even 30. The helmets have changed permanently a number of times thru the decades, and this isn't a permanent change. What would you say if we still had the michigan-like wings from the leather helmet days? At least they aren't putting tounces on the uniforms anywhere, or going black:noracist:

Thanks NBamaAlum. The changes are pretty small. Which was my point. I guess if you have a contract with Nike for the rest of your stuff you are obligated to wear the crap. Bear Bryant would spin in his grave if the Tide showed up wearing some thing that looked like that train wreck Georgia wore last night.

Anything other that the traditional LSU uniform offends me! 
LSU Gold (Yellow) helmets, white or purple striped jerseys and LSU Gold (yellow) pants. It ain't broke don't change it for any reason.
If we lose a recruit to Oregon or Maryland because of their multiple uniforms then that recruit is too stupid to not flunk out of LSU.
