If LSU's offense performs significantly better than usual, why?

If LSU's offense performs significantly better than usual against Oregon, what do you speculate will be the primary reason:

(1) new offensive coordinator and philosophy;
(2) better play calling;
(3) QB coaching;
(4) better QB;
(5) better offensive line;
(6) non-SEC defense;
(7) significant time to prepare; or
(8) overcome recent adversity.

QB coaching and a system where plays flow better and set up other plays.

Also, I think they will have something to prove.

I'm going with 2. However, I think that 1, 3, and 7 might play a significant role. Before Josh D got hurt, I was a lot more optimistic about 5 being particularly helpful.

2 reasons.
1. The oline played better
2. LSU is cheating by having someone else wearing JL's uniform.

Primary reason - QB coaching IMO. However it could be because of any combination of the choices you provided in various degrees.

I certainly believe that Lee will be improved. I would like to have seen how much Jefferson improved also.

Coaching and experience always help improve performance.

This - Watching the bama & A&M games from last year, he really threw some nice balls.... thought it might finally click this year.

These are my picks in no particular order.

The problem with JJ has always been he only does it occasionally. I was curious to see if he had actually improved, but I was not overly optimistic.

I have a feeling the offensive philosophy is still going to be the same. The non-sec defense shouldn't matter either. We couldn't put up points and yards against all the OOC opponents we faced last year, and they were pretty terrible. So, if we do see improvement, I am not going to take it with a grain of salt because it isn't an SEC defense.

The trend toward the end of the season seemed to be upward.

There were a lot of really good things beings said about him over the summer.
