I was trying to play SNES Mario with my friends tonight. They all sucked. I was the only one who knew where any of the 'secrets' were or anything like that. In any event, what is y'alls favorite old school game?

My personal favorite is Super Mario RPG (SNES). Have a copy in the box

Wouldnt it be nice to have a board where people could talk about games. Like a Gaming Board, might have to mention this to Chicken.

Absolutely. One of the most fun and entertaining rpg's I've played.

The original Chrono Trigger for the SNES still stands as my favorite video game ever.

I assume you mean Super Mario World?

Great game.

Most of my friends know/remember most of the hidden shite in old school video games (like the Tyson code, flutes on SMB3, warps on SMB1, etc.).

Adventure for the Atari. Very simple game but a lot of great memories.

For those who are Tecmo fans, there's a site called tecmobowl.org that has hacked versions of the game so you can play with current players, or use college teams. You just need an emulator which can be found a lot of places.

This is a cool site where you can play a lot of the old school video games in your browser:

Vizzed

I joined several months ago, and most of the games work great (there are a few that don't but I've only encountered that once or twice). There's a small program you can download, but it's safe--I tested it with Malwarebytes, Norton, and Avira before installing and haven't had any issues.
