Give me Some ideas. I prefer one with a huge tv, and can hear the game over the crowd. I live near Essen ln. I don't go out much anymore, but mostly due to work.

Serious question, does Shady's show games? I'm too old to know.

Is Champs still open? It's a good bar/TV setup but a tamer crowd and on the south side of Baton Rouge. Went there after the Arkansas game a couple of years ago on the way home, but it was almost empty so not sure if they closed down or not due to lack of business.

Champs is closed now, I forgot the name of the new place but it is nice and food is better and better priced.

Bulldog is an option to watch the game as well.

There is this great little hole-in-the-wall place called Shady's I think.

Buffalo Wild Wings is the best ever. It's like watching it in a stadium with all your best buds.

$10 gets you all you can drink miller till the end of the game and a plate of Jambalaya. Really good atmosphere, huge TV, and people actually quite down while plays are in action.

What this guy said... The Varsity

HD projection screen comes down and covers the entire stage.

Plus they have good beer specials and sometimes even give out red beans and rice.

BWW is a good place to watch the game, but the trash they call service is enough for me to take my business elsewhere. I can't stand that place.

Rotolo's is in the process of revamping their Nicholson Drive location. They just added 4 new TVs (now up to 8) so no more "blind spots". Also, they just covered their patio.
It's about a mile from Tiger Stadium, so a good place to stop on the way to tailgate. Been going there for years. One of the best kept secrets for gameday near LSU! Great food, and not to mention, their regular drink prices are better than what you pay for drink "specials" anywhere in town.
